THE BEACH - 4 NIGHTS - 22, 23, 24, 25 march

Nestled on Kenya’s quiet northern coast, this is a family-run lodge style retreat where wild adventure, conservation, and barefoot luxury come together. With no windows in our bandas and no worries in sight, guests arrive as strangers and leave as family. The story began with an unexpected adventure — and a slightly impulsive boat purchase. In 2001, long-time friends Andy and Fuzz set out to buy a ‘bargain’ boat that turned out to be more of a prawn trawler than a luxury vessel. Undeterred, they named her Cheza, spent months restoring her, and in the process, sparked an idea that would change everything. What started as a dream to run fishing safaris soon turned into something bigger. During a scouting trip through the Lamu Archipelago, they stumbled upon a small, charming lodge on an Island and It had everything: calm waters, no mosquitoes, and the perfect spirit of adventure. By the end of 2003, they had bought it and opened their doors with the same warmth, curiosity, and joy that sparked the whole journey. Today, this lodge remains a place built on friendship, adventure, and a shared love for the wild Kenyan coast.

ON SAFARI - 4 NIGHTS - 26, 27, 28, 29 march

This Lodge is an independent, family-owned, award-winning safari property in Kenya offering tailor-made experiences and adventures focussing on wildlife, conservation and sustainability. The only private lodge on this very private wildlife conservancy, this is a place that has a long legacy and commitment to sustainable tourism and conservation. Guests feel like have arrived in a Kenyan home because it is one. For over 70 years the Grant family has stewarded this one of a kind conservancy using innovative practices, holistic management with small business as an economic driver and uplifter in the ecosystem. This is also one of our favorite family properties, who has many unique activities thought for them. From lions to elephants, from Giraffes to Zebras, there is a lot to see. Go on safari at night, go for walks, go horseback riding, fishing, spend time with the community, do a shamba tour, go visit the farm, the school. There is endless things for you to do.
