AFRICA EM JUNHO
NAIROBI - 1 night (26 JUNE)
UP NORTH - 3 nights (27, 28, 29 JUNE)
Welcome to Samburu land, one of the most unique parts of Kenya. In close flight distance from some of the most beautiful wild areas in the world, this place is a gem on its own. Family owned, the chances are you will be invited for breakfast or dinner with the patriarch and interact with the family, learning a lot about what life in Kenya looks like. This conservancy is managed by the Samburu and you will spend time with them at their villages and be present, maybe, to some of their rituals. There is so much to do here - from camels, to horses, to going to the market and, at its best, this is the place for an helicopter flight - the only access to the most remote areas of northern Kenya that will have you land on wild lake shores and desert dunes on the same day (while looking at pink waters habited by flamingos). Although a dry area of Kenya this is the only part of the country (and the all of Africa) that you get to see the very endangered reticulated giraffe or the grevy zebra. Very few places in Africa will have this unique energy around, or these experiences.
UP CENTER - 3 nights (30, 1, 2 JULY)
Welcome to one of the most sought-after destinations in Kenya - one that is inspiring conservationists from all over the world and also becoming a role model on true sustainable tourism. Situated on the edge of one of Kenya’s most private wildlife and environmental conservation projects, this place provides guests a home-away-from-home experience that’s hard to find these days.
Why do we choose this place of you? in here you will go beyond the classic safari drive, with exceptional wildlife and wilderness viewing opportunities: you can do guided walks, breathtaking scenic flights, horse riding safaris, camel riding or fly camping. But mainly you will hear from the the people who ARE developing the rhino conservation program, and you will be able to learn just how fragile and delicate these species are. Also know that, by staying here, you are automatically supporting the Conservancy, renowned for both its pioneering conservation initiatives as well as community and education programs.
This is one of the last standing places in Africa to still see rhinos, the second most trafficked animal in the world, one that faces extinction soon. Not only you will see rhinos here but you will also have a chance to see many other species. This property sits in the middle of immense pieces of land that spread across 65 000 acres of pristine wilderness. A place that will show AND educate you on some of the best wildlife conservation projects in Africa, while being in the presence of many wild animals. Vastness, endless space, a familial welcoming and a heartwarming staff around you, all day long.
